Well, for many, many months I’ve wanted to add webcam capabilities to my website and after much research into the matter, I’ve come to the conclusion that ImLive is the best solution. So, I’ve just finished up my application and got my approval to become a Hostess this AM 
!! I am still kind of feeling my way around the site at the moment but I hope to be actually ‘LIVE’ within the week. Part of the reason that I haven’t done webcam shows in the past is that I wasn’t really satisfied with the quality and stability of Yahoo, who I was using at the time. I saw a demo of the Logitech Orbit AF Webcam and it blew me away. So, I got one… and I’ve got a great high-speed Internet connection so I’m sure I’ll be happy with the quality of today’s webcam shows. I’ve heard very good things about ImLive though and I’ve been very impressed with their help in getting my application approved and such. Anyway, obviously, ImLive is not a free service, especially if you want to have a private 1-on-1 webcam session but another reason I decided to go with ImLive is that they offer Free Live Chat to everyone so you can at least stop on by and say, ‘Hi’ to me every once in a while
The final reason I decided to go with ImLive to host my webcam shows is that there are no fees for Fans and Admirers to sign up for an account… and what is better than free! I’ll be working on getting some banners up on my sidebar here, as well as on my site, so you’ll know when I’m available for webcam shows.
