I'm not a therapist, but just someone who picked up some thoughts. It's the one world you have control over your life and control over the people you serve. I think you want to make people happy/pleasure for validation and your sexuality as a girl is one way to manifest this desire, no matter the price you pay. Gratuities are just measures of acknowledgement of value as are the many followers. All of that is fine, but I'm sure by now you've scrapped below that veneer. I have no idea of your "other" life, but judging what you shared--- your adoption and focused life of your siblings may not be part of your DNA, yet the expectations whether by external influence or what you might have perceived may weigh heavily in your heart. I think the gender switch is very visible yet secret way to define your "own" space. Free and secret that you own for better or worse. It doesn't matter why since it may manifest itself in some other compulsion. So it's less about gender and more about control. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter what others think or think what you should be doing or be. Learn what "you own" and not what others want you to own. Give those things back or dismiss them as owned by others. Heck, you may choose never to be Krissy again, or at least, get control of your life.
