Last night I went to go see the world famous Broadway musical, RENT, now playing in Portland on its farewell tour. Wow. What an amazing piece of art! The performances were top-notch to say the least and the show was amazing. I had watched the movies several times before and also listened to the soundtrack multiple times but there is just something special about actually going to a live performance that really blows you away.

The crowd was very appreciative of the fine performances and the show ended with a resounding, and well deserved standing ovation. My personal favorites were Mimi, performed by Lexi Lawson, and of course, Angel, performed by Justin Johnston. It was great hearing and seeing all the little parts that the movie left out for the sake of brevity. Anyway… great show and if you get the chance to see it during the farwell tour, I heartily recommend it! It will really get you thinking about what you’ve done with your life so far and how you spend each of those 525,600 minutes each year!

What a great way to spend a Friday night!

Well, I’ve pretty much completed the revamp of Krissy4u – The Blog! What do you guys think? I’m fairly sure this is going to be pretty close to the end product although I may do some tweaking here and there icon smile Krissy4u The Blog is New and Improved!

As you may have immediately noticed, the biggest change is the reformatting of the ‘Links Section’ which no longer contains billions of banners icon smile Krissy4u The Blog is New and Improved! Mostly the reason for changing this is that I, myself, was getting tired of the load times and having to try to make sense of everything so I’m sure that browsers were pretty confused and overwhelmed as well! Anyway… the text links do make things much easier to navigate and far less overwhelming icon smile Krissy4u The Blog is New and Improved!

So I was taking a look through my computer today and cleaning up the ol’ hard drive and came across a whole folder of pictures from a while ago! These are (I think) the very first pictures that I posted on my old website! I still remember that top because I really loved it and was a bit peeved what I accidentally ripped it and so had to throw it in the trash bin. Feels weird to be looking at these pictures, although I don’t really know why.
